Words are not enough
One of the frustrating things for new learners is that even when they understand the words, they may still miss the meaning. This happens in every language, but in Persian social interaction it can feel especially important because politeness and relationship often shape what is said.
Where meaning hides
Sometimes the sentence itself is simple, but the real content lives in tone, hesitation, insistence, softening, or understatement. This is one reason direct translation is not enough.
What the site can do
I want this site to help learners notice those layers without becoming paranoid. The goal is not to over-interpret every sentence. The goal is to become more culturally awake.
Why story matters
This is also why story and culture belong inside language teaching. They train perception, not only memory.
A better kind of learner
A good learner is not only someone who remembers words. It is someone who starts to hear human intention more accurately.
