The origin story
It started with Rostam & Sohrab
A Persian epic, an Italian evening, and a spark of an idea.
One evening I was telling my Italian partner the story of Rostam and Sohrab — the most heartbreaking tale in Persian literature, a father and son who fight without knowing each other. I watched their eyes fill with tears. In that moment, I realized: Persian is not just a language. It is a portal. If a story could cross a language barrier so completely, why couldn’t I build a bridge for others to walk across? That’s how this project was born — to teach Persian through the stories that shaped my soul, one beautiful tragedy at a time.
