About Me

A Physicist Who Fell in Love with Language

I study how particles move through space. I also study how words move through time. Both, I’ve discovered, are forms of the same thing: the search for meaning.

My Story

From Tehran to the Accelerator Tunnel

I grew up in Iran surrounded by the poetry of Hafez and the epic tales of Ferdowsi — literature was not a subject in my school, it was the air we breathed. At the same time, physics pulled me toward the universe: how things move, how forces act, how something as invisible as a proton can carry so much energy.I pursued physics to the highest levels, eventually specializing in accelerator physics — the science of guiding charged particles through magnetic fields at nearly the speed of light. Today, I work on the commissioning of particle accelerators, using sophisticated methods to correct the trajectory of particle beams. But I never left my Persian roots behind. They followed me to Italy, to the lab, to every conversation I had with friends and partners who couldn’t read Rumi in his own language. And that’s when I decided: I would build the bridge myself.

My Journey

Key Moments That Shaped Me

Early Years

Growing Up with Persian Literature

Raised in an environment where Hafez, Rumi, and Ferdowsi were household names. The first stories I heard were Persian epics — they became part of my DNA.

University

Physics Takes Over

Began studying physics and discovered that the universe is even more poetic than any verse. Fell in love with electromagnetism and the behavior of charged particles.

PhD

Accelerator Physics Specialization

Dedicated my doctoral research to beam dynamics in particle accelerators. Developed methods for trajectory correction — the art of guiding a beam that moves at near-light speed.

Italy

A New Home, A New Bridge

Settled in Italy. My Italian partner heard the story of Rostam and Sohrab for the first time. Their reaction changed everything — I knew I had to share Persian culture with the world.

My Values

Curiosity

Whether in the accelerator tunnel or reading a ghazal by Hafez, I am driven by wanting to understand what’s really happening beneath the surface.

Connection

Language is the technology of the heart. I believe that teaching Persian is an act of building permanent bridges between cultures.

Clarity

Complex things can be explained simply. Physics and Persian poetry both reward patience and precision — and so does good writing.

Let’s connect

Whether you want to learn Persian, talk physics, or just say hello — I’d love to hear from you.
